BUSINESSMAN Raymond Singh took out the Design Engineering Fiji Limited sponsored Western Open Championship at the Lautoka Golf Club yesterday.
Singh, the Islands Electric Wholesalers managing director carded 50 to win the overall gross title which was played over 12 holes.
Asish Chand of Ba won the overall net title. He scored 47.
Nilesh Chand of Nadi won the A grade net scoring 48. Umesh Murthi was second with 50 while Anthony John was placed third with 52.
Pastor Pritam Singh won the B grade with a score of 47 nett. Shri Vivekananda College student Shavil Prasad was second with 48 while Vijay Krishna finished third with 50.
Lands Transport Authority officer Arvind Chand of Nadi won the C grade. Chand scored 48. PWC's partner Ratu Wiliki Taki was second with 50. Abinesh Gounder was third with 51.
Most golf went to former Lautoka Open champion Prem Chand. Nearest to the pin prizes went to Jeffery John of Process Valves and Controls.
