THE Naitasiri rugby under-20 side is confident of a good outing this season.
After missing out on the knockout stages last year, the Baby Highlanders are geared up for an enterprising rugby campaign.
Today, the Naitasiri U20 selectors will select 40 players in its squad to prepare for another mammoth season of brutal rugby.
"We are having our trials tomorrow (today) to select our squad for this season," team manager Atu Kurubiou said.
The Naitasiri U20 team is usually made up of players that represented Queen Victoria School, Ratu Kadavulevu School and Lelean Memorial School in the U18 and U19 Deans Secondary School rugby competition.
"Our aim is to improve our performance from last year where we failed to reach the semi-finals. I believe we can select a much better team this season and we are hoping for a good outing this year," he said.
He invited interested players who were eligible to play at U20 level to attend the trials at Ram Lakhan Park in Samabula.
The trials will start at 9.30am.
