Jet set town goes online

Maciu Malo
Saturday, January 26, 2013

THE Nadi Town Council has launched a new website to allow for the easy access of information.

Local Government Minister Colonel Samuela Saumatua said the move was important because the town was the economic centre for tourism in Fiji.

He said the council had effectively enhanced its drive in promoting the town, adding the initiative was also part of the government's commitment to turning the country into a "knowledge-based society".

All necessary information that deals directly with operations and administrative procedures of the council will be on the website.
