Fortafy to hand out aid

Felix Chaudhary
Saturday, January 26, 2013

BETTER known as Fortafy, hip hop star Sam Ratumaitavuki will distribute 300 stationery-filled backpacks, 1000 drink bottles, school equipment and one tonne of humanitarian supplies when he visits the country next month.

The rising rap star will also be performing two shows as part of his inaugural Fiji tour at the Ice Bar on February 22 and Down Under pub on February 23.

While the primary focus of Fortafy's trip to Fiji will be to give to cyclone-affected schoolchildren for charitable organisation Pacific Smiles, he said two concerts planned for Nadi and Suva would open up his music to a new audience.
