Friday, January 25, 2013

THE Health Ministry is trying its best to provide better health care facilities for the Fijian people and urgent steps are being taken to address issues which might hinder these developments.

And to put the ministry's efforts into reality, minister Doctor Neil Sharma will tour hospitals and health centres in the Northern Division from next Wednesday.

Dr Sharma said apart from inspecting health facilities, he would also focus on key areas such as service delivery and human resources.

The minister will meet corporate entities and discuss enhancing private-public partnership in terms of improving health care facilities including old people's homes and providing standardised services to the people of the Northern Division.
