THE Lautoka Basketball League inter club tournament has received a major boost with an $800 sponsorship from Pacific Energy.
The inter club tournament will be held in the Sugar City from March 14-16.
The three-day event will serve as the build-up to the annual Easter Championships in Suva.
LBL secretary Emosi Koro said the inter club tournament was open to all the teams which were affiliated to them.
"We are thankful to Pacific Energy for their sponsorship," Koro said.
"The top teams from Lautoka have confirmed entry. The tournament will run for three days."
"We successfully ended our season last year with Tribal Getaway winning the men's division and Lady Cougars taking out the women's title."
"We are now hosting our club games at the Latter Day Saints courts in Waiyavi and we request all the players and officials to uphold the regulations and standards set out by the church."
