Minister visits Savusavu women

WOMEN in Savusavu were honoured to be visited by the Minister of Women Social Welfare and Poverty Alleviation Doctor Jiko Luveni.

Dr Luveni visited projects and initiatives funded by women of Naidi Village and also part of her visit was the laying of the foundation for the new multipurpose hall in Savusavu Town.

Dr Luveni encouraged women to rise up and develop themselves and their families, adding that government looks forward to working closely with women to foster development in rural areas.
