A SERVING prisoner will add another four years to his jail term after he pleaded guilty to robbery related charges and larceny in the Suva Magistrates Court on Monday.
Jonecani Nacani appeared before Magistrate Yohan Liyanage to answer to a charge of breaking and entering a restaurant and larceny and one count of robbery with violence.
The court heard that on May 12, 2004, Nacani of Fletcher Rd in Nabua broke into the restaurant of a Khang Kin and stole cash and other valuables worth $341.
Magistrate Liyanage told Nacani the offence required a maximum of 14 years imprisonment.
"However, taking into account your early guilty plea, this imprisonment will be reduced to two years," he said.
Magistrate Liyanage had given him 28 days to appeal against his term.
