DEREK Derenalagi will be the guest speaker in the 2012 Fiji Sports Hall of Fame and Fiji Olympic Order at the Novotel Hotel in Lami this Friday.
Derenalagi, who was born and bred in Namaka, Nadi, is a former British soldier and has represented Great Britain at the 2012 London Paralympics.
Event organising committee chairperson Makarita Lenoa said Derenalagi was in the country on holiday.
"Derek has been good enough to speak at several FASANOC functions and has held his audience spell- bound each time," Lenoa said.
"We are confident that his after dinner speech will be no exception."
Lenoa said they were honoured that His Excellency, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, as patron of FASANOC, would also grace the occasion.
