A TAXIDRIVER has been disqualified from driving for three months after pleading guilty to drink-driving charges.

Vijay Lal, 49, was also fined $300 in default of 30 days in prison.

On November 15 last year, Lal was told by a police officer not to drive as he was under the influence of alcohol but he disregarded this and drove away. The police officer followed Lal in another taxi and arrested him along Rewa St.
