FORMER Nadi Football Association president Navneeda Gounder is eying a return to administer the Jetsetters this season.
Gounder stepped down from the position in 2002 after Nadi's Inter District Competition victory.
He will challenge acting NFA president Tarun Patel for the top job.
Jitendra Kumar took over from Gounder in 2002 but could not gain much success with the Nadi team. During his ten year reign Nadi failed to win the Fiji FACT, Battle of the Giants, IDC and National Football League titles.
Patel took over the role as acting president last year after the Fiji FA changed its regulations preventing people to hold dual executive positions with district associations and the parent body.
Kumar, who was elected as the vice president of Fiji FA in 2011, had to relinquish his position as NFA president in order to comply with the rule.
Patel said he was ready to continue serving the district.
"We have built the Nadi team up but things did not happen overnight. We managed to win the Pacific Cup in New Zealand last year."
