A HEARING date has been set in the case of the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption against former prime minister Laisenia Qarase.

Qarase appeared before Fiji Court of Appeal judge Justice William Callanchini where both counsels agreed on February 25 as the hearing date.

Justice CaLlanchini had questioned Qarase's lawyer Tupou Draunidalo in the delay in compiling court records.

Ms Draunidalo responded that it was still being compiled and was nearing completion.

Justice Callanchini also informed both counsels that all materials relevant to the matter be included in the court record.
