FORMER Fiji welterweight champion Opeti Tagi is eager to win the title back from Junior Farzan Ali when the two clash during the Naidiri Boxing Promotions Program in Nadi in March.
Junior Farzan took the title off Tagi in April of 2011 via a split points decision.
Tagi said he was robbed of victory during the bout. He said this was an important fight to resurrect his career.
"I will have to sacrifice a lot for this fight and will have to drop my weight down. For the last fight I feel that I was robbed. But this is a new chapter for me."
Junior Farzan is stepping in for his elder brother Zulfikar Joy Ali who pulled out earlier this week due to injury.
Boxing Commission of Fiji board member Malakai Veisamasama said Joy Ali provided a certified medical certificate that he would be unfit for the fight.
Junior Farzan's father Farzan Senior said this would be a tough fight for his son.
