THE parents of an eight-year-old were shocked at the news their daughter had won a new Kia Rio car worth more than $40,000 yesterday.

Class Three student Rosilili Sikiti Vela was the centre of attention after receiving the keys to the brand new vehicle.

Her name was the lucky pick at the drawing of the Kia Rio with Cadbury competition outside TappooCity in Suva.

Excited mother, Tale Vela said Rosilili's father used to buy Cadbury chocolates for their three children and during the promotion, he wrote their names on the entry paper on every packet he bought.

"This is a miracle for us. We thank God for answering our prayers," Mrs Vela said.
