SYDNEY - Michael Jennings linked up with his Sydney Roosters teammates for the first time yesterday, 24 hours after putting finishing touches to his four-year deal with the NRL club.
The NSW and Test centre ended months of speculation about his future by agreeing to join the Roosters from Penrith, three years before the end of his $600,000 a year contract.
Jennings arrived at his new club's Moore Park headquarters just after 9am and underwent a medical to rubber-stamp his new deal, but will not be paraded in front of the media officially until today.
"I'm excited to see the boys," was all he said.
