GOLF

Ladies

THE FMF Foods Ltd-sponsored Fiji Golf Club Ladies Summer Cup 2013 competition is from January 22 to March 12. It is a 9-hole competition run over eight weeks. Week 1 of competition - Tuesday, January 22 is to be played on the Front 9. Ladies (and men if they wish to join our competition) are to form groups of three, four or no more than five. They may tee-off at any time of the day that is suitable for them but their cards must be in by 7pm. Entry fee is $5. Conditions of play will be on the club notice board. Viria Blues Unity

THE Viria Blues Unity netball tournament will be played on January 18 and 19. The first 10 teams to register will be accommodated. Registration fee is $30 and prizemoney is $150. For more information contact Mr Vakaloloma on 9360429 or Jale Qiokata on 9633429.

POWERLIFTING

AGM

THE Powerlifting Fiji annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on Saturday, January 19 at FASANOC starting at 10am. Election of office bearers and the calendar for 2013 is on the agenda. All members are to attend.

RUGBY

Nadi

ALL players that represented the Nadi under-20 and senior teams in 2012 are requested to attend training at Prince Charles Park. Contact Noa Neivalu on 8779469 for more information.

Namosi

ALL clubs that wish to be affiliated with the Namosi Rugby Union for 2013 are to contact Samisoni Tuilawaki on 9385600, Sakiusa Veiwili on 9905076 or Isireli Nataqa on 9905095 no later than January 25. All players that represented Namosi last year are to be at the Namosi Provincial Office on January 26 for your first training run. Coaches and managers are to send two players to be included in the Namosi training squad. Meeting for coaches and managers at the Namosi Provincial Office at 2pm today.

Viria Blues Unity 7s

THE Viria Blues Unity Sevens tournament will be held on January 18 and 19. The first 32 teams to pay their registration fee of $160 will be accommodated. Winner walks away with $1200 and the runner-up gets $600. Under-17 and under-19 tournaments will also be held. Only eight teams will be accommodated and registration fee is $100. Winner gets $500. Nadi

THE Nadi Football Association outgoing council meeting will be held at the Civic Centre on January 24 starting at 6.30pm to be followed by the annual meeting at 7pm.

Physical education

ALL primary schoolteachers who are interested in receiving physical education notes, fun-games activity book and sports skills to help in your daily teaching, define words in learning records and writing CBA, contact Tagi Vonolagi 9694417.

Navua

NAVUA FC first council meeting will be held at Navua Police Bure on Thursday, January 17 from 7.30pm. All executives, club delegates, referees, life members, business community are requested to attend this important meeting. Please note that local league team registrations will be closing this Thursday with the fee of $150.

New team fee is $200. For more information contact Mr Ashwin (Secretary) on 9207831. Navua FC AGM will be held on January 31 from 7.30pm and venue will be announce later. REWA Football Association incoming council meeting will be held today at Saraswati Primary School, Manoca, Nausori at 7pm.

Agenda would be circulated in due course. All club delegates, life members, trustees and RFA executives are requested to attend this meeting.

NOTICE is hereby given to all the club affiliates of Tailevu Naitasiri Football Association that the third council meeting of the association and 2013 registration will to be held today at the Vunimono High School, Nausori at 7pm. Delegates of all clubs affiliated are to be present.
