Fishermen missing

Update: 6:09PM FOUR fishermen from Waya Island have been reported missing at sea.

According to authorities, the eight men aged between 35-52 years are from Waya Island.

The group had gone out fishing when they encountered some problems.

Four of them managed to swim to Namara Village this morning at 1000hrs, while the others remain missing as of lunch time today.

The boat with the name Rosi is also missing and people on neighbouring islands have been urged to keep a look out for the missing four.
