Update: 1:27PM THE Ministry of Social Welfare, Women and Poverty Alleviation will focus on reducing poverty in Fiji to a negligible level by 2015.
This was outlined in the ministrys 2013 Annual Corporate Plan that was launched by Minister Dr Jiko Luveni at DeVos on the Park today.
Dr Luveni said the ministry would also focus on providing financial assistance to poor and needy people in the country this year.
She said the ministry also planned to increase its coverage for empowerment of women in the country.
