Thirty off to Nauru

CANBERRA - Thirty men have been transferred to the offshore processing centre at Nauru.

The single men, mostly Iraqis and Iranians, left Darwin on a charter flight yesterday the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) said in a statement.

The group went through relevant immigration, customs and quarantine processes before being placed in their accommodation at the centre on the Pacific island.
