Amazing Technology
HERE is something that makes technology and the mobile phone a wonderful thing.
A friend from Suva was at home in Lautoka spending the holidays with us. He got a call-back message from his wife who was in Suva.
So he called her and asked what she wanted. She said, "Can you call for a taxi please, I want to go to town."
So he called a Nabua taxi from Lautoka which went and picked her up.
Amazing isn't it.
I love technology.

Endangered species
IN response to Naigulevu (FT 11/1), mate, since you are so worried about the human species being completely endangered, why didn't you just write a letter regarding that subject alone.
My letter was regarding the mass death of hammerhead baby sharks.
Why compare the two?
The World Conservation Union was to put it on it's list of "Globally Endangered" species; one step below the top rating of "crtically endangered."
Mate, the years I've spent serving in war torn countries have made me realised that the human problems are caused by humans alone. I have experienced it, I have lived it, so do not try and lecture me about human problems. We have a choice, the sharks and all species on the endangered list don't.

Where is humanity
READING the dailies one can only read about non-human behaviour by people. I ask, where is humanity? God help us.

Piece of gold
I FOUND the story about the gang rape in India so unbearably disturbing that I actually shed tears when I first I first heard it. But when the local media dropped a bomb shell by reporting that a similar incident recently took place in our very own backyard,
I was extremely disturbed that I felt a knot in my stomach. I just could not believe that this complex and testing issue is still happening to females in our society nowadays. I felt really ashamed. What has gone wrong with us males? Though there is always the impossibility of finding perfection in life, can't we change our attitudes towards females?
Fellow males, remember we have a duty to protect females and not to abuse them. They are the most valuable thing in this world so let's take care of them. There is so much grittiness in life that we need to consider the deeper implications of any actions that we need to take. For me, what took place was nothing but a horrible sensation that I will take with me to my grave.
To all our females, I apologise for all our spiteful actions. Please forgive us. You will always be our piece of gold.

Super bridge
THE dropped plan to build a bridge from Bua to Ra as stated by the Divisional Planning Officer Northern blew me away.
To even contemplate such a project is ludicrous, for even with all the money in the world it is simply impossible. A more viable alternative is the Vatuwaqa bridge and the infamous pot holes that is the nemesis of vehicle owners and all road users.

New Air Fiji aircraft
WITH the recent spate of faults detected on the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner - isn't it a stroke of luck that the powers that be at our own airline decided to purchase the Airbus A330 aircraft.

End of Law
S. VAKALIWALIWA (FT 30/12) has not answered any of my questions for fear of exposing his lies that Gentiles and Christians are not required to keep the weekly Sabbath other than the Jews.
To illustrate this truth further, God gave the Ten Commandments to the Jews in 1420 BC (Exodus: 20) and 40 years later (Deuteronomy: 7), God commands the Jews to kill every living person (wipe them out completely) in Canaan including women, children, little babies and animals contrary to the Sixth Commandment which says, "Thou shalt not kill (murder).
Therefore, if Vakaliwaliwa's Sabbatical theory is correct, then God had violated His own commandment in ordering the destruction of entire cities, just to allow the Jews to have a homeland in the Middle East.
The Bible confirms that God ordered the killing of thousands of people from many different nations for the protection and accommodation of the Jews.
The truth is that God's Law was to show people their need for a Savior and ultimately to restore fellowship with Him through the "Finished Work" of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary.

Good bye to 2012
AS we all say Good Bye to 2012 and welcome 2013 May God blessing be with our beautiful country, hear leaders, our Honourable Prime Minister,
The President and all those members working with them to take Fiji forward, wish them all the success and may Fiji and her people prosper in everyway.
Wish all the best to all Radio Station and their announcers with them in every house they give everyone all the information around Fiji and the world.
At the peak of Cyclone Evans there was a break down of all Radio Station, Radio Fiji Two, Radio Sargum, Radio Navtarang. Maybe all their antenas and communication system was smasked up by cyclone but people could hear Radio Fiji Two after the cyclone and they gave their best during the Christmas and on New Year Eve.
May God bless you all and thank you.May God bless all the doctors, nurses, people working in orphanage, orphans and old people's home, government workers, police, armies, bank workers, post workers, all workers for disables, for blind shcool, Red Cross, Lions Club and other charitable organisation and every citizens of Fiji and wish everyone a Prosperous New Year.
