FIJI'S chances of finishing in the top five of the 2013 Australian Master of Amateurs Championship took a nose dive after Anuresh Chandra carded a terrible 15 over par 87 in the third round in Melbourne.
This was the worst score recorded by a player in 54 holes. Olaf Allen Jr also lost his rhythm in the third round. After carding under par scores in the first two rounds, Allen Jr scored five over par 77.
Fiji was in fourth position at the halfway mark but dropped down to the last position after the unimpressive scores in the third round with a total of 457.
Allen Jr dropped to 16th position on the individual leader board while Anuresh slumped to 51st.
Australia leads the team category with 429 followed by Canada 432, USA 438, China 439, England 439, Sweden 445, Mexico 447, New Zealand 447, Germany 455 and Scotland 455.
