THE wounded Army cricket team will be a force to be reckoned with during round two of the Suva Cricket Association weekly competition.
The star-studded Army side defends the Perpetual Cup against Ono-i-Lau tomorrow at Albert Park.
Laced with national reps Kitione Tavo, Jone Seuvou, Sevu Baba and Tukana Tavo, Army is tipped to retain the cup.
The soldiers will not leave any stone unturned after their shock loss to Yadrana last week.
SCA president Adriu Misiki said they were looking forward to exciting matches in round two.
"It will be very hard for Ono to win the game because Army will be out to bounce back from their shock loss to Yadrana in the round one final," Misiki said.
Round two will be played for more than nine weeks.
"Round two will be very interesting to watch especially the Army side. They will be the team to beat.
"They are the champions in Suva cricket," Misiki said.
"I believe they have learnt from their mistakes and they will be a much stronger and better team now.
"Yadrana, Moce and BSP are other top teams in the competition."
In the other game Yadrana faces Novotel.
Games start at 9am.
