LEASING interest is still very strong as the Damodar City Centre complex takes shape in Laucala Bay, Suva.

Damodar Brothers (Films) Limited chief executive officer Div Damodar said while their construction program had been affected slightly by the shortage of cement supply, he congratulated the supplier for their quick action.

“We will do our best to make up on lost ground,” he said earlier indicating the recent Cyclone Evan and power outage had a part to play in construction works.

“The Centre is 75 per cent leased and this includes the cinema component.

“We are now working on the remaining 25 per cent.

“We are anticipating opening sometime in the first quarter of 2013.”
