FORMER Flying Fijians flyhalf Setareki Koroilagilagi has been named in the Suva Rugby Union extended training squad for the 2013 season.
The former Lautoka player is in the Army Rugby Club and could make his debut for capital side if he impresses selectors.
Koroilagilagi made his debut for Fiji in the Pacific Nations Cup in June last year where he kicked two conversions and two penalties in the 25-17 win over Japan.
The Farebrother Sullivan Cup holder will begin their off-season training today.
Suva Rugby Union official described 2013 as a challenging year and named an extended training squad of over 100 players.
SRU secretary Maika Waqavatu said the players were required to be at the HPU Gym at 4.30pm today and tomorrow.
"Players selected in this extended squad will form the Presidents XV and Combined Services to kick-start the SRU club competition scheduled for early March," he said.
"This season opener will form the basis for selecting the SRU Provincial Team for 2013."
Also named in the extended squad is Flying Fijian lock Leone Nakarawa.
The 24-year-old played for Suva from 2009 to 2011 but featured for Tailevu last season.
Another notable name in the list is that of inspiration Red Rock sevens team captain Jasa Veremalua.
The towering forward is currently part of the 21-member national sevens team that will begin preparations for the Wellington and Las Vegas 7s tournaments.
