NATIONAL women's rugby team coach Elenoa Kunatuba is hoping to conduct a fitness test before the end of the month to kick off preparation for the IRB Women's Sevens World Series.
The Fijiana will compete in the third leg of the series in China on March 30 and 31.
"I am looking to starting preparation proper in January and I would like to conduct a fitness test by the end of the month. I just hope the girls were disciplined and followed the off-season program that was set for them," she said.
Eight Fijiana players are in China, training under former national rep and coach Tomasi Cama with the Anhui provincial side and will return in February.
"When they return they will join the side for training but we will also run them through fitness test drills."
