THE Champion Farebrother Sullivan Suva Rugby Union will begin its off season training for the challenging year ahead today. Players selected in this extended squad will form the Presidents XV and Combined Services to kick start the SRU Club Competition scheduled for early March. This season opener will form the basis for selecting the SRU Provincial Team for 2013. All players are to report to the HPU gym at 430pm today and also Tuesday, 08 January. THE Viria Blues Unity Sevens tournament will be held on January 18 and 19. The first 32 teams to pay their registration fee of $160 will be accommodated. Winner walks away with $1200 and the runner-up gets $600. An under-17 and under-19 tournament will also be held. Only eight teams will be accommodated and registration fee is $100. Winner gets $500.
