THE Ministry of iTaukei Affairs has set its sights on collecting the main Prime Minister's Award in 2013 after winning the PSC service excellence achievement award for two consecutive years.

During a briefing last week, iTaukei Affairs permanent secretary Savenaca Kaunisela informed his staff of the commitment set in improving their services to members of the public as well as stakeholders.

"It is imperative that we meet with all senior staff of each division to remind them of the core responsibilities of the ministry which cascades to their divisional business plans and individual work plans," Mr Kaunisela said. The ministry's corporate plans, divisional business plans and individual work plans, dress codes, work attitude and proper record-keeping were topics of discussion at the meeting.
