NATABUA High School student Annie Shannon has moved up the International Tennis Federation junior rankings reaching a career high of 581.
She has moved up 74 positions after performing well during the Auckland Tennis Xmas Championship in New Zealand last month.
Shannon finished unbeaten in the girl's 16-18 years category. She is now Fiji's top ranked junior tennis player ahead of Tarani Kamoe who has a world junior ranking of 584.
Fiji Tennis Association executive and national coach Naga Reddy said Shannon and Kamoe would travel to New Zealand to compete in junior tournaments.
