LAUTOKA boxer Wahid Khan has expressed disappointment after Mulomulo's Johnny Singh turned down his request for a rematch.
Khan lost to Singh via a split points decision during the Wild West Promotions Program in Nadi last month.
According to Khan, he is ready to drop his weight to 68 kilograms for the rematch.
"I have even offered part of my prize purse to Johnny," Khan said.
"But he has now signed up to take on Aisea Naiti. I'm disappointed because I feel that Singh should have given me a rematch.
"I will wait for him and want to prove that I'm a better boxer.
"I will resume training from next week."
Singh nicknamed "The Machine Gun" for his fast punches holds a record of three wins and two losses.
Naiti of Navosa, Nadroga has two wins and two losses. In his last fight, Naiti lost to Junior Farzan Ali via a technical knockout. The two boxers fought for the Fiji welterweight title which is still being held by Junior Farzan.
Singh and Naiti will face each other in the supporting bout of the Naidiri Boxing Promotions program in Nadi on March 16.
