At Wintec our students have graduated in Information Technology, Business, Health and Social Development, International Tourism, Hospitality and Events, Science, Trades and Engineering, Sport and Exercise Science, Education and Media Arts.

From April 1, 2012 the New Zealand minimum wage for employees aged 16 and over is NZ$13.50 an hour before tax.

You can work up to 20 hours per week while you study and Student Job Search can help you find temporary and part-time work.

From start to finish, Wintec will make sure you have access to the support facilities you need to succeed, including a Medical Centre, Counselling and Learning Services on campus. The library is well resourced and staffed by qualified assistants. Student visa and permit renewals are available online.

The cost of living is cheaper compared to other cities, in particular Auckland and Wellington.

Accommodation options vary from Homestay to Hostel or you can rent an Apartment if you have a family.
