9th fire in 5 days

Update: 1:08PM AN early morning blaze has left a family homeless in Labasa this morning.

The fire is believed to have started at 5am.

Neighbours told the Fiji Times that the owners, along with some relatives, had just returned from their Christmas holidays in the village.

The National Fire Authority and police are investigating the cause of fire.

This is the ninth home fire in five days since December 23.
