Update: 10:54AM FORTY-FOUR non-management staff of the Public Rental Board will get a pay rise backdated to January 1 this year.

The total annual salary increase of $103,158.98 was approved by the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.

Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the announcement comes after the PRB carried out a review of its staff members past performance, qualifications, experience and competency.

The last job evaluation at PRB was carried out in 2004 and since then, market adjustments had not been done.
