True spirit of Christmas

THE true spirit of Christmas was brought to life at Sigatoka earlier this week when management and staff from the Outrigger on the Lagoon Resort sang carols and distributed gifts accompanied by surprise guests and Santa Claus.

For newly appointed executive assistant manager Lindsay Palmer, the experience was nothing short of magical and rewarding at the same time. "As our staff choir sang at the Sigatoka Hospital, I noticed an elderly lady crying, it was a very touching moment," he said.

"We also had Santa, Paralympic gold medallist Iliesa Delana and Miss Hibiscus Drue Slatter along with staff members distribute gift packs to over 100 patients and staff which brought huge smiles to faces.

"The food items were previously cleared by doctors at the hospital and based on their individual dietary requirements," he said.
