ONE of the country's most popular family holiday destinations was back in business two days after Tropical Cyclone Evan tore through Fiji's resort playground, the Mamanuca Group of islands.

Plantation Island Resort, one of the pioneering family holiday retreats, escaped relatively unscathed despite its close proximity to the eye of the cyclone as it passed through the Mamanuca Group.

And for those looking for some fun in the sun, the Malolo Cat service is operating between Denarau and Malololailai, home of Plantation Island Resort and the adults-only escape, Lomani Island Resort.
