FLYING Fijians Nemani Nagusa, Aisea Natoga and Leone Nakarawa have been drafted into the Digicel Fiji sevens extended squad for the third leg of the 2012/13 International Rugby Board Sevens World Series in Wellington and Las Vegas.

Coach Alifereti Dere has also called in other experienced players for the fitness test on December 27 at HPU Gym in Suva.

Setefano Cakau, Timoci Vakadranu, Levani Botia, Ilai Tinai, Joji Ragamate, Alipate Raitini and Osea Kolinisau are some of the experienced 7s reps named in the squad to boost our comeback in the series.

Team manager Semi Rogoyawa said the players knew about the fitness test.

"These players were well aware of the fitness test. Initially we planned to have it on December 26 but we moved it to December 27," Rogoyawa.

"We are just reminding the requested players to adhere to this notice and be present during the fitness test."

Rogoyawa said they expected good results at the beep test as players had individual training programs to fall back to during the festive season.

He said they expected players to do their individual training to keep them in shape for the fitness test.

Meanwhile, Fiji Rugby Union coaching director Franck Boivert has been helping out the Fiji 7s team with its preparation.

Boivert said the team would work according to the 7s plan he proposed earlier this year.
