By ROPATE VALEMEI
Wednesday, December 19, 2012

Update: 1:32PM POWER and water has been restored to major areas in the Suva-Nausori corridor.

However, higher areas of Tacirua are still without water. Supply is to be restored gradually today.

The Water Authority of Fiji residents living between Navua and Deuba would continue to experience intermittent supply today because of the power outage.

Supply is being rationed to stretch reservoir storages.

For the north, WAF indicated that all operation has returned to normal.

In the Westerrn Division, Tavua is operating on generator.

For Rakiraki and Ba, supply has been prioritised to hospitals and town areas.

There is still no power in Lautoka and this has affected supply of water to the following areas: Lovu, Matawalu, Qalito, Waiyavi Street 5, John Road, Drasa Dam Road, Vatumai Vakabuli.

Those living in high-elevated areas in Sigatoka are still without power.
