Man bashed to death

Update: 12:33PM THE Fiji Police Force is investigating a murder of a 37-year old construction worker at Nanuku settlement in Vatuwaqa, Suva.

Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said the incident occurred last night.

It is alleged the deceased was involved in a brawl with some youths after he was allegedly caught trying to steal a radio from their house.

The deceased was conveyed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Four suspects are in police custody at the Nabua Police Station.
