Ana Madigibuli
Wednesday, December 19, 2012

THERE were no casualties from Tropical Cyclone Evan.

Fiji Police Force spokeswoman Ana Naisoro confirmed late yesterday that no casualties were reported to police.

Ms Naisoro said police had not received any reports on casualties after Evan had passed.

She said the police force would now focus on helping clean-up operations around the divisions to assist in getting life back to normal.

Also, police officers are assisting in evacuating people from their homes because of flooding being experienced in the low-lying areas.
