PM tours disaster zone

Update: 8:11PM THE PRIME Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama inspected evacuation centres and affected areas in Nadi and Lautoka today.

Commodore Bainimarama discussed the needs of the evacuees and demanded urgent assistance by the DISMAC officials.

Western Division Commissioner Commander Joeli Cawaki briefed him on operations and situations on ground.

Commodore Bainimarama will continue his visit to the affected areas in the West tomorrow.
