Seaqaqa evacuees

Update: 7:12PM EVACUEES at Seaqaqa Primary School have not returned home yet.

Kavekini Seru, an evacuee and villager from Nanivuda said they moved to the centre on Sunday night.

"We will only return home when the weather clears," he said.

Meanwhile, National Fire Authority officers have been supplying water to residents of Seaqaqa in Macuata in the wake of Cyclone Evan. 

Residents of Seaqaqa have been without electricity and water since Monday.

Commissioner Northern Lieutenant Colonel Ilai Moceica said the Fiji Electricity Authority and Water Authority of Fiji teams have been working to restore supply.
