Shelter at RKS

Update: 11:12AM ABOUT 300 people from two villages in Tailevu are taking shelter at the Ratu Kadavulevu School.

The families of Nananu and Dakuinuku villages fled to the school yesterday after big waves struck the villages.

Nananu Village has a seawall while Dakuinuku Village does not have one.

Police have been checking on the villagers, who are waiting for the authorities to arrive at the evacuation centre.
