Bank operations

Update: 10:48AM COMMERCIAL banks in the Central and Eastern divisions would be able to normalise operations today.

This was after the  central bank announced the cancellation of its Bank Holiday notice with effect from today.

Reserve Bank of Fiji Governor, Barry Whiteside said banks in the west and north may be affected by Tropical Cyclone Evan.

He said it would be the call of individual banks on when those branches would be able to provide full services.
