By ROPATE VALEMEI
Monday, December 17, 2012

Update: 3:54PM THE Land Transport Authority has imposed a curfew for all public transport tonight.

LTA chief executive officer Naisa Tuinaceva said only 20 per cent of public service vehicles would operate this afternoon in the central and eastern divisions.

"By this evening, no public transport will be allowed to travel on the road. This is for the safety of the public."

Mr Tuinaceva said the Northern Division was given the green light to allow transport and passengers on the road.

He said PSV drivers should take heed of the advice.
