Banks close

Update: 12:03PM THE Fiji Reserve Bank has announced the closure of all commercial banks at 12 noon today until further notice.

RBF Governor Barry Whiteside said they were working under Section 62 of the Reserve Bank of Fiji Act.

The Reserve Bank will monitor the situation and advise accordingly.
