Labasa River rises

Update: 10:46AM WATER level in the Labasa River is now at 1.5m and continues to increase.

WAF divisional officer north Romulo Mataitoga told the northern emergency team that critical point would be at 1.7m. 

Residents in Labasa are still without power.

The Labasa Fire Station is using its generator and officers are on standby for any emergency.
