Forces briefed

THE Fiji Police Force and the Republic of Fiji Military Forces will have to prepare its officers for deployment as the country brace for Tropical Cyclone Evan.

RFMF Land Force Commander Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said the military was prepared to respond when TC Evan hits the country. "The RFMF has been briefed and we are in close contact with DISMAC," Col. Tikoitoga said.

Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Ioane Naivalurua said the police force had been briefed on the instructions from the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.
