TAVEUNI Palms Resort has done it again — in a period of a month, the well-known resort on the Tagimoucia Island has grabbed three world awards.

This week in New Delhi, India, at the 2012 World Travel Awards, the resort won the titles of the World's Leading Boutique Island Resort and World's Leading Island Villas. Last month, the resort won the Australasia's Leading Boutique Island Resort.

So far this year, the resort has won six awards including the Fiji's Leading Resort.

Resort owners Tony and Kelly Acland describe Taveuni Island as the most beautiful of all the Fiji islands.

The couple, who attended the awards in India, said they were thrilled with the awards and attributed much of their success to their devoted staff.

"It is an honour to be singled out for our uncompromising standards, high level of professional service and attention to detail," Mr Acland said.
