THE Fiji Rugby Union has kept the faith in the Digicel 7s team to bounce back in the remaining tournaments of the 2012/2013 HSBC Sevens World Series.

FRU physiotherapist William Kwong, speaking on behalf of the FRU board directors during the welcoming ceremony, said the trip to Dubai and South Africa was a learning experience for some players.

"On behalf of the FRU board we would like to welcome you back home," Kwong said.

"The results did not go our way in Dubai and South Africa. But as the saying goes 'you win some and you lose some'.

"It may have been a heartbreak for the fans but if you look around there are many fans here to support you. The trip was a learning experience for some. The FRU is confident that there are better things to come in the next year."

The 7s players have been given a break and will undergo a fitness test on December 26.
