FGC

FIJI Golf Club 2012 season closing ambrose sponsored by Bank of South Pacific will be played on Saturday December 15. Entries close at 6pm on Wednesday December 12. Entry forms are available at the club bar or golf proshop at Vatuwaqa. A 36-hole national junior golf championship for John Cooper trophy will be played at the Fiji Golf Club on December 19 and 20. NETBALL

Bure

THE tournament will be held at Suva Grammar School grounds on December 22. Only 16 teams will be accomodated. Fees $100 and registration is due December 20, deposit of $75 accepted. Destiny Danudanu

THE above tournament will be held at Burebasaga District School grounds on December 15. First 10 teams with $30 registration fees will be accepted. Cup winner will receive $100 and runner-up $70. Registration closes December 12.

Fiji Netball

Frends

All players are to attend training at Lawaqa at 5pm daily. Interested tall defenders and shooters are welcome to join the Frendz Club. Frendz break up party will be held at Malomalo Village on 27th December 2012. Frendz Club will be taking part in the Ambassador 7s in Suva next week. Contact Kumar 7619565. Special dance in aid of Frendz Netball club will be held on 24th December 2012 at True Blue Hotel from 6pm-2am. Admission $5.

Nadroga knockout

Off season mini knockout will be held at Lawaqa on Friday 21st December. Interested teams in Nadroga/Navosa are welcome to join NNA. Registration fee $30 to be paid by December 18th to Kumar. Only first 24 teams will be accepted. Winner and runner-up will grab cash. Best player and best dressed team will get a shield. Contact Kumar 6501530/9949410/7619565. RUGBY

Bure Ambassador 7s

THE tournament will be held on December 22 at Suva Grammar School grounds. Entry fee is $250. Only 40 teams will be accepted. Cup winner gets $2500 prizemoney and Lei Namolibale Trophy, runner-up $1000 and losing semi-finalists gets $250 each. Plate winner gets $500, runner-up $400 and semi-finalists $200 each. Bowl winner gets $400, runner-up $300 and semi-finalists $150 each. Shield winner will get $300 while the runner-up $200. Registration closes on December 20 and deposit amount of $100 is acceptable. The U19 7s tournament will be held on December 21. Fees is $130 and due on Decmber 19. Entry fees can be deposited to Bank of Baroda account 13017 and deposit amount of $75 is accepted. Davetalevu 7s squad

THE following players have been selected into the Davetalevu training squad for 2013.

U Tavucuilagi, A Domolailai, P Kovekalou, L Kurimudu, N Nagusa, S Kalou, J Kunawave, N Kunavore, S Vatunaruku, R Vatunaruku, M Toga, J Lutumailagi, A Duwai, T Momolevu, S Koniferedi, A Natoga, E Bula, S Taqea, S Rawaqa (Yalovata).

Destiny Danudanu 7s

THE above tournament will be held at Burebasaga District School grounds on December 14-15. First 24 senior teams with payment of $150 registration fees will be accepted. Cup winner will receive $1,000, runner-up $400. There will be prizes for the losing semi-finalists. There will be a competition for under-18, only 8 teams with registration of $100. Cup winner will receive $400, runner-up $150. Accepted form of IDs: election ID cards, school monogram IDs or FSSRU ID card. Registration closes December 11. Nadroga

ALL club coaches in the 4 zones are to submit names of their best three players to Paula Biu (9869527 or 7441561) by no later than December 13, 2012. The three names are to exclude all players who are currently in the 2012 Nadroga squad. There will be 4 teams made up of the 4 zones which will play in the trial on December 22. The coaches/manager will be: Valley Zone - Aisea Vasutoga\\Joave Qarau, Central Zone- Sikeli Basiyalo/Saiasi Tagayawa, Cuvu Zone Nimilote Dau/Asesela Botei, Baravi Zone- Peniasi Damu/Jorama Ratulevu. The players selected from this trial will then will be included in the Nadroga Rugby senior final tranining Squad for 2013 domestic competition.

Kuata 7s

THE New Beginning Kuata 7s tournament will now be held on December 15 in Nadroga. Only 24 teams will be accommodated. Cup winner: $2000, runner-up: $1000. Interested teams please contact Sitiveni Tikoirewa on 7015186 for more details.

QVSOB Rugby (Suva)

Offseason rugby training continues at Marks Park from 5pm from Monday - Thursday. 7s training included. Interested players are invited.
