Happy meal for orphans

Torika Tokalau
Saturday, December 08, 2012

THE children of Dilkusha Home received a treat last weekend when the All Friends Club bought them lunch.

Each of the 29 children including the eight staff members, were given a meal from McDonalds. They savoured every bite, a meal Deaconess Leba Laveti said they hardly get to enjoy.

"When the box of food was opened, the children could smell McDonalds and got really excited," she said.

"These children hardly enjoy these types of food, so we are really blessed to have the All Friends Club bless us with it."
